You have to do 2 steps in order to have something like in windows at
its system trailer below:
1. Configure your Keyboard preferences, in this step you will add
Arabic layout to be one among the selected layouts on your system,
each language has its own layout on the keyboard:
- go to: Applications > Preferences > Keyboard
- The window of keyboard preferences will appear, choose "Layouts" tab.
- Choose your keyboard model, for example if you didn't know it you
can count the number of keys on your keyboard and choose something
generic; "Generic 101-key".
- Add Arabic from the Available layout list to your selected layout list.
- Close the window.
2. Keyboard Layouts Switcher, this will add an icon on your system
toolbar, so whenever you click on you will keep switching among your
layouts(languages).
- Right click on your system toolbar, and choose "Add to panel"
- A window of utilities will be displayed, select "Keyboard layout
Switcher"or "Keyboard Indicator".
- You will find what you want that icon.
Try to find a way to switch between arabic and english using
hotkeys..i didn't try to search actually but if u try to work around
you will find it.
That's it..
Tell me..Can you write arabic in kbabel or not ?! right now after that
adjustement.
