Ya está al día la colección Fedora 11, nos está faltando la sección varios:

Todavía quedan más de 10 días para el lanzamiento, así que hay mucho
tiempo por delante. Habría que trabajar sobre los documentos publican,
que todavía ni siquiera me he puesto a ver.

Indifex and the Transifex Community are proud to announce the newest version
of their flagship translation platform, Transifex 0.5.

Transifex is a web application written in Python using the Django web
framework that gives translators a web interface to various version control
systems. Files to be translated can be downloaded, translated files can be
uploaded directly to the source repository, and various translation statistics
can be read at a glance.

Transifex is already in use by the Fedora Project to translate its interfaces
to an audience of more than 5 million users.


What does it offer?

Transifex currently supports the following Version control systems:

 - Concurrent Version System
 - Subversion
 - Bazaar
 - Mercurial
 - Git

For statistics generation, Transifex supports static gettext message catalogs
and intltool-based ones, used by the vast majority of open source software
projects.

This release represents a significant advance in Transifex development since
the Transifex 0.3 release in November 2008. Here’s a 40K-foot view of the

243 files changed, 14027 insertions(+), 319 deletions(-)

 - Complete re-write of the source code on top of the Django Web framework
 - New data model supporting multiple repositories per project (eg. branches
   or domains of files), and project collections (eg. Fedora, GNOME, etc.)
 - Calculation of a project’s translation coverage (statistics)
 - Submission support of files to a variety of version control systems
 - Support for serving translation files to users for easy access to them
 - User registrations and authentication (including OpenID)
 - Simple workflow support

Yo estoy con el módulo "libvirt" de "various". Calculo que para el
fin
de semana que viene lo tengo listo. 

Estuve en la página. Qué placer ver por fin todo más o menos
tirando al verde :) Estrené además la nueva herramienta que
permite "lockear" los archivos en los que uno está trabajando. Me
parece una idea muy piola.

Justamente eso me olvidé de pedir.
Cuando tomen un módulo, bloquéenlo de manera que no hayan 2 trabajando
sobre un mismo módulo.

No es una idea nueva, ya estaba en una herramienta anterior que
usábamos en el año 2006 y 2007.

Los módulos importantes, que van a formar parte del próximo lanzamiento son:

PulseAudio
RPM
virt-manager
libvirt

Con el botón de más a la derecha que te va a aparecer después de
ingresar con tu cuenta FAS (el enlace Sign in de arriba a la derecha).

No debe estar habilitado todavía.
Ya pregunto en fedora-trans-list.
Hay que ir informando los problemas, cosa que depuremos la interfase
lo más rápido posible antes del tiempo límite, el 7 Abr próximo.

rpm-4.7.x will be used in Fedora 11, but RPM isn't accepting
translations from Transifex at all. You have to file a bug in Bugzilla
or RPM's Trac instance.

Me gustaria aclarar algo

En el hilo anterior le habia solicitado a domingo que yo voy a empezar a
traducir RPM

En este momento ya tengo todas las cadenas traduccidas y estoy en proceso de
revisar la ya traducidas antes de mi para que tenga consistencia con todo el
archivo po.

Me gustaria saber en que vas Charly y sugerir si ppodriamos desarrollar algo
asi somo unas lista de traudctores por proyecto
para evitar lo que paso en este caso que dos personas trabajen en un mismo
archivo po sin coordinacion entre ellas.

Estoy al pendiente de saber como proseguir.

Bueno, entonces paren el trabajo y mezclemos los archivos, luego
coordinemos el trabajo para las cadenas que queden.
Pásenme una copia por correo del archivo que tiene cada uno para mezclarlo.

Usemos los bloqueos en la nueva interfase t.fp.o/tx.
Con eso debería alcanzar.
Aunque no manda ningún correo al coordinador.

La interfase anterior (2006) no te dejaba tener un módulo más de 24
hs,  a partir de las 12 hs ya te empezaba a molestar avisándote que te
iba a quitar el módulo si no subías los cambios.
Voy a pedir lo mismo para esta interfase, a los efectos de no tener
dos traductores trabajando sobre el mismo módulo, y que el bloqueo no
sea demasiado largo.

Habría que ponerse de acuerdo en no retener un módulo más de 48 hs, un
tiempo más que razonable para ir subiendo las traducciones realizadas.
