Alguem sabe como instalar um modem chipset smartlink no fedora

Eu instalei os pacotes do slmodem e  kmod-slmodem, até aí nenhum
problema ,mas na hora na hora da inicialização do serviço do modem da
esse erro aqui;

slmodem failed. The error was: Starting
SmartLink modem daemon: Please edit /etc/sysconfig/slmodem

[FALHOU]

Abaixo é o conteudo do  arquivo /etc/sysconfig/slmodem 
alguem tem alguma sugestao

#Country you are in Possible values can be gotten from calling slmodemd
--countrylist e.g. COUNTRY=USA or COUNTRY=GERMANY

COUNTRY=BRAZIL  (valor q eu inseri)

Interface the userspace daemon should use to
communicate with the modem alsa: For SmartLink Modems, supported by the
alsa sound system.

# slamr: For PCI and Integrated SmartLink Modems

# slusb: For USB based SmartLink Modems

# INTERFACE=slmr (valor q eu inseri)

If you are using the alsa sound system to drive the modem and you
need too

# specify a special alsa device, as the slmodem
daemon does not autodetect

# the correct sound device, please specify it here as "hw:0,6" or
similar

# value.

# If you do not use the alsa interface, this value is being ignored.

ALSA_DEVICE=  (ñ sei o q inserir)

Any other arguments passed to the slmodem daemon

ARGS=  (ñ sei o q inserir)

Veja na saida do 
$ aplay -l

Veja meu exemplo:

card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 6: Si3054 Modem [Si3054 Modem]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

O meu é card 0 device 6

Ficando assim...

ALSA_DEVICE="hw:0,6"

Deu para entender?
