Hi. My name is Kambiz Aghaiepour. I am a long time Red Hat

I worked at Red Hat from 2001 to 2006 on the production operations team.
I left Red Hat for 4 years while I worked at Duke University
(responsible for Linux@Duke while I was there) and I also worked for
MCNC before returning to Red Hat in 2011.
I occasionally notice typos and errors on the Fedoraproject wiki pages
and am requesting membership in commops as a non CLA* group in order to
fix said issues.
I'm currently heavily involved in Red Hat's OpenStack performance and
scale effort.
You can find me on IRC as "kambiz" (on freenode) and "kosh" on the

Hi Kambiz, thanks for sending your introduction here to the mailing
list, and sorry for the delayed reply.
It's awesome to know some of your background in Red Hat and open source
in general! I just checked out your FAS account and it looks like you've
been sponsored into the `wikiedit` FAS group to grant you wiki editing
privileges for your circumstances. Outside of helping with wiki
gardening, were there any tasks specific to CommOps that you were
interested in helping with? I think you probably already saw our wiki
page, but to get an idea of some of the topic areas we focus on, you can
read through this section, and look through some of our open tickets for
tasks that we're working on now:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/CommOps#Things_we_help_with
https://pagure.io/fedora-commops/issues
If there's anything that seems interesting or that you might enjoy
working on, you can either leave a comment directly on the ticket or ask
here on the mailing list. Should there be anything you're confused on or
need explained, please don't be afraid to reach out here on the mailing
list. We'd be more than happy to help get you started with anything. :)
Thanks for sending your introduction here on the list, and hope to see
you around the Fedora community soon!
