How is this wokring this time around.
I see F18 in updates, updates-testing,
but no F18 plain Fedora*.repomd.xml
either under development or releases.

iirc under f17Branchded it was fedora.repo and updates-testing.repo.
There has not yet been a branched compose.
That will happen tomorrow morning.
Then branched composes will happen every night just like rawhide.
Then in about a week, bodhi will be enabled for f18 and you will need
to get an update into "stable" for it to be added to the nightly branch
compose.
