It's because we moved the platform-specific stuff to /usr/lib (or
/usr/lib64). There's no way around the .eclipse breakage.
I know Ben was going to put some information about it in the update text
and we were going to send some email to make sure people were aware. Sorry
you had to hit it before we sent out the info.
It's already there:
"Please note that this update changes the filesystem layout
of some of the packages and users will have to run eclipse
once with '-clean' after the update is complete.
Alternately, users may remove the configuration in
~/.eclipse (i.e. rm -r ~/.eclipse). If there are
non-packaged plugins installed in ~/.eclipse, please run
eclipse with the -clean' option to ensure that these plugins
are not lost."
But if '-clean' isn't working I'll take that text out when it goes to
updates proper.
