Comps updates for Fedora Server
by Stephen Gallagher

While testing Fedora Server 21 Alpha TC4, I discovered that several
expected packages were not installed by default and thus made
management by Cockpit difficult (particularly joining a domain).
The first patch adds PackageKit to the headless-management group, as
it is a dependency for both Cockpit and OpenLMI to be able to manage
packages on the system.
The second patch adds several important packages for allowing
enrollment as a client in a FreeIPA or Active Directory domain.

I need packager access for myself for the qpid-dispatch package. One of
the current packagers is Darryl Pierce who reports to me in Red Hat.

I was "testing" new f21 pre-alpha images #5940 , and I cannot find
checksum in CHECKSUM file for Live-Workstation image (i386,x86_64,?), for
example in here http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/21-Alpha-
TC4/Workstation/x86_64/iso/Workstation-21-Alpha-TC4-x86_64-CHECKSUM there
is only netinstall iso image checksum, missing 'Fedora-Live-Workstation-
x86_64-21-Alpha-TC4.iso' checksum in the file. (It is also missing for
older 'composes' which have .ISO images created (<Alpha-TC4))
I don't know which component I should select for this ticket, I hope
someone can fix it later!?

Could you please unblock python-django-openstack-auth for f22?
Do you have any chance to see, why it's blocked? There is no reason to do
so.

This package is marked as retired in pkgdb for every branch and deprecated
by upstream [1]. However, it is not retired in git, nor it is blocked from
release.
There is deltacloud-core, which depends on the rubygem-clouservers, but it
is broken by another missing dependencies anyway, so it will not be any
additional damage IMO.
Could you please retire the package correctly? F21+ will should be ok.
Thanks.

Hi!
The old and obsolete gfal package has been retired in rawhide for some
time now, but is still not blocked in koji. (gfal2 should be used
instead.)
It has dead.package file in git and retired status in pkgdb.
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/gfal/
http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/gfal.git/tree/
I am not the maintainer of this package, but it depends on one of the
packages that I maintain and since it is retired it was not rebuilt after
a soname bump in that package - so I regularly get broken deps
notifications for it even though it is supposed to not be there any more.

Hi,
we would like to do a mass rebuild for all non-noarch packages in f21 (and
rawhide) for 2 reasons
- glibc upstream reverted the ABI change they made in 2.19, which was
included in the f21 development tree earlier and today is fully integrated
because the rebootstrap in fedora/s390x and the mass rebuild done in early
June
- possibly wrong code generated by the gcc 4.9, fweimer should have the
details
