Because of ticket#154 ... we could use help from a quick python script
that would use the mediawiki api (and python-simplemediawiki) to rename
existing category pages. I have some sample scripts I can point someone
to if interested.
The mediawiki api (see http://fedoraproject.org/w/api.php) explains the
access details and arguments. We just need a script that we can provide a
new and an old name, and it will handle renaming the category.
Optional bonus would be a script that moved all pages from one category,
to another.

How to debug plymouth?
by Ian Pilcher
For some reason, plymouth is not displaying a graphical boot theme on my
newly installed (Fedora 15 Alpha) system -- despite the fact that kernel
modesetting works just fine.
How can I debug this?
I've tried booting with "plymouth:debug" on the kernel command line, but
I still don't see anything useful /var/log/boot.log, /var/log/messages,
or the output of dmesg.
This is a new Sandy Bridge system with "Intel HD graphics", BTW, but
that shouldn't matter as long as kernel modesetting works, right?
Thanks!

I will be more than happy to plan/host the test day.
Preferred times are 2011-04-14 or 2011-03-31 or any other available day
before between the alpha release and then.
There are a couple of new features to be tested, but we need coverage
across the board for virtualization as there has been a good bit of
change. Test plans are in progress.

Hello,
the subject says all:
Since systemd(?) update an hour ago, my test system does not boot any
more. removing "rhgb quiet" from kernel command line shows
Failed to load SELINUX policy
Failed to set security context... for /run: invalid argument
Failed to set ... for /sys: Invalid argument
Failed to set ... for /sys: Invalid argument
Failed to mount /sys/fs/cgroup/systemd: No sich file or directory
Did someone else see this? How to repair such a broken system?

How do I add startup programs in Gnome 3?
by Antonio Olivares
Dear folks,
I took the plunge to Gnome 3 and although I am playing around, I wish to add some of the old functionality like there was before, i.e, add a starting up script, in the old way one would open gnome session and add the program/script to run at bootup, now the same cannot be applied.
I want to add GKrellM system monitor. ATM I use a terminal and type
$ gkrellm &
or run it from the applications(System -> GKrellM), but I want to see if it can run without me typing it in?
TIA,
Antonio

Unable to boot Fedora 15 Alpha.
by Erik P. Olsen
I have few minutes ago (21:25 UTC) updated F15 Alpha and after a reboot the boot
process stopped with the message:
Stopping systemd Syslog Kernel Log Buffer Bridge...
And the boot process did not proceed from here.
Has anyone seen this also? And what can I do to repair the system?
