I'm not really a desktop guy to even know where to begin looking at
this. OTOH, the rawhide machine that I used to spin the LiveCD, I
just updated it and everything works fine, so this is probably
hardware-specific :/
There haven't been any changes I'd think would be hardware impacting
from watching rawhide logs... you should be able to use the live image
on any hardware. And I'll take a look too (but it'll probably be
tomorrow before I get around to it)
