No it's not. "Rescue" mode is achieved by passing "rescue" to
the
kernel argument line at boot time. Anaconda will see that and launch
into rescue mode. ANY boot media can lead you to rescue mode.
Your description fits with my past experience, however that's not the
way it works under F7T4 (F-6.93-x86_64-DVD.iso).
No one else sees this behavior?
