The performance of the two is roughly the same. I don't know if you were
aware, but Sun does not allow third parties to publish performance
comparisons between Sun DS and other LDAP servers - it violates the
terms of the Sun DS license agreement. So, unless Sun has published
performance specs, you probably won't find any.
You'll have to base your decision on something other than performance.
