prettytable update and nova client

Hi,
after the python-prettytable update available in EPEL the openstack clients (nova, keystone) are not working giving the following error message:

Quantum issues with Openstack EPEL
by nux@li.nux.ro
Hello again,
Another problem I have is with Quantum.
Same OS: Centos 6.3 + EPEL + EPEL-testing, selinux on, firewall on (as
configured by anaconda), Openstack Folsom
I have skipped the nova-network section of
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Getting_started_with_OpenStack_EPEL and
used this instead:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Quantum_V2#Setup
Obviously I have replaced the systemctl commands with service and
chkconfig. There is no openvswitch in EL6 yet so I used the one from
here http://li.nux.ro/download/tmp/ (git 1.9.90).
Except for the above there were some other issues I encountered with
the instructions:
1. At the "Please check that the following are in
/etc/quantum/l3_agent.ini" section turns out that what I had in my ini
file was this:
"auth_url = http://127.0.0.1:5000/v2.0/
auth_region = RegionOne
admin_tenant_name = admin
admin_user = admin
admin_password = verybadpass"
I commented that out and replaced with the settings from instructions.
All the quantum/openvswitch router/soubet/etc add worked
(surprisingly). But now I see the following errors:
/var/log/quantum/l3-agent.log:
2012-11-17 20:01:44 ERROR [quantum.agent.l3_agent] Error running

cloud-init on Fedora
by Oved Ourfalli
Hey,
Don't know if I'm on the right mailing-list, but I have some questions regarding cloud-init on Fedora.
I've installed it, and saw sample configuration files, but they were all ubuntu-related configuration.
How do I install a Fedora guest, and set the proper configuration on the guest to make it configure itself using cloud-init?
I'm using oVirt (which supports VM Payload), and I would like to install a Fedora guest, with the proper user data passed as VM payload.
Examples containing how to set up Static IP, DNS addresses, and other related properties would be great.
Thank you,
Oved

cloud sig meeting time and dst
by Matthew Miller
Soooo if there wasn't enough confusion over moving the meeting time....
Daylight Saving Time is now over in the US. Is it more convenient to keep at
the 14:00 UTC time, which is 9am EST and 6am PST, or should we move it back
to 15:00 UTC? OpenStack folks, I'm looking at you in particular. :)

review request -- ec2-metadata
by Matthew Miller
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=876317
This is a small script from Amazon (http://aws.amazon.com/code/1825) which
can pull information from the ec2 metadata service (including compatible
ones like that provided by eucalyptus). The cloud-init package is really
cool and does all sorts of great stuff, but it's also kind of big. This is
all of 7.7k, and together with a simple systemd service to update
authorized_keys would provide a reasonable minimal alternative.

New "Community Management" mailing list
by Justin Clift
Hi everyone,
As per recent thread on the aeolus-devel mailing list,
we've created a new "Aeolus Community Management" mailing
list.
aeolus-comm-mgmt-request(a)lists.fedorahosted.org
It's a place to debate, discuss, co-ordinate (etc) our Aeolus
Community (development) and Management. No patches. :)
If you're interested in Aeolus Community things, but have
been put off in the past by the torrent of patches on
aeolus-devel, this new mailing list is probably for you.
Specific note -> this is a completely public mailing list,
everyone is welcome. :)
Regards and best wishes,
Justin Clift

Should I grab this from Fedora and rebuild it or I'm missing some configuration in my system to be able to inject data in VMs.
