What we have now will lock my laptop up hard. 6.8.1 with the same

A relatively simple workaround for FC4 might be for rhpl to turn
DynamicClocks _on_ for the Radeon -- perhaps only on PPC, or when it
finds that the kernel has done so.
Put them ON unconditionally on ppc. I yet have to get a report of a
problem related to dynamic clocks on these. I'd be curious if your DELL
still crashes with my patches too btw.
