Well you can boot installer to first screen - switch to tty2
cd /tmp
wget http://people.redhat.com/pnasrat/pdisk
chmod 755 pdisk
./pdisk <disk>
n (Change name)
(freespace partition no)
Extra
w

Thanks for your help guys. I was going to go with an NFS install tonight
but this pdisk fix seems to have worked and the install (direct from the
DVD media) is now underway.
