It should be 'org.apache.spark'. I assume quick start guide give you all basic info And also I have not proper idea about apache spark. Introduction | Enhance Fedora build setup

Hello, I'm Zhenbo Li[0], a student in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, with major Pharmacy. I've been involved in GSoC 2014 for Wine, which meant to improve Wine's support of JavaScript [1]. As I've been a Fedora user since Fedora 16, I'm glad to contribute to Fedora in GSoC 2015. After reading the Idea Page, I'm glad to choose "Enhance Fedora build setup"[2]. I love Python, especially Python 3. I'm envious that Arch Users can enjoy Python 3 by default[3], but I have to wait until Fedora 22[4]. That is to say, I'm glad to move old code to Python 3. I've glanced at releng scripts, and most of them are Python 2 only. As the Idea page mentioned, "Make select releng scripts PEP8 compliant/python3 ready". Does this mean I need to keep the code compatible with Python2, using the approaches mentioned in Python Future[5]? If so, as there are so many methods, which one should I choose? That's the first question I met. I'm glad to work for Fedora Project this summer, and I'm waiting for your feedback. Thank you very much. -- Have a nice day! Hi, I am Lahiru Sandaruwan Pathirage, a university student(University of Colombo School of Computing) from Sri Lanka, expecting BSc in computer science in 2016. I've been looking forward to participate GSOC 2015 and I found the "Implement tiny kdump" project, which am interested in. I have a 5 years of experience using Linux operating systems, mostly Archlinux and Fedora. And have completed the course module "Operating systems" in my degree program which contains core mechanisms of operating systems. Also I have learnt kernel module programming, C/C++, assembly, python and a good knowledge about Linux kernel. I like to know whether there are any qualification tasks. Thank you. Hi, I am Computer Science undergraduate (Duel Degree) student from an Indian Institute(International Institute of technology , Hyderabad ). I am using the fedora OS from last three years as part of my academic works So I have a good knowledge about the Operating System. I believe I have Good Programming skills as I have completed some programming projects . I know C/C++, Python very Well. I have Completed Two Courses in Computer Networking, Introductory Computer Networks And Advanced Computer Network as a part of My Academic along with some Practical skills by doing some projects (Related to Socket programming and other one related to NTP Protocol and Some About Cisco Packet Tracer, wireshark etc.) . As I have mentioned earlier that I am a Duel Degree Student, (B.tech in CS and MS By Research in CS), My Research Area is Algorithms, Cryptography and Information Security So I have a good knowledge in the field of Information Security. So I believe I fulfill All the perquisite mentioned on the Project Page. I Want to work on this project in GSOC 2015. I believe this project is best suited for me and I will be able to utilize my full potential on this project. *I want to be fully committed to this project from now and I have Few other Technical Question regarding your expectation from this project as well as Some Doubts which i want to resolve.* I believe I don't have proper Access of Mentor's Contacts So I thought it would be better to post here. Hoping to get involved in the Project for the Next Summer. Thanks Durgesh Pandey.

Hello Everyone, I'm Mahesh Bandara Wijerathna & i'm from Sri Lanka. I'm 21 years old. First of all i'm so glad that i chose to join the fedora community. I've been familiar with Linux distributions for almost 7 years now. First with Ubuntu & then with fedora. I find fedora as the best user friendly RPM based Linux distro. After that i got to know RedHat, CentOS & everything. I can say i have a gained reasonable amount of experience in fedora Project & community over the years. I've also got in touch with Few of Fedora Ambassadors from Sri Lanka. In a summary in open source world, i've got very familiar with Gnome & CCExtractor in Last few years. Started Developing in Gtk+ & Gtkmm with Gnome. I have knowledge in languages C, C++, Gtk+, Gtkmm, JSE, JEE, php, Javascript, ajax, Html5 etc.. I have Programming experience of 10 years. I can be very enthusiastic about open source projects & have been dedicated to a lot in the past. So my interest in this year in to apply to GSoC '15 with Fedora Project. Please Guide me. Hello Guys, My name is Aneesh Dogra. I am studying computer science in IIIT Delhi. I have been involved in a few open source projects (primarly libav and sugarlabs) since 2-3 years. I have won GCI twice [1] [2] and mentored in GSoC for Sugarlabs (2 years ago) and been a GSOC student last year. I have a fairly active/updated github [3] and linkedin [4] profile. If you check projects on my github profile you'll notice my interest for automation. I have experience in python, shell, flask and C/C++. I also have experience creating web scrapers in python, had made one for flipkart, was on github but flipkart had me take that down. I made one for scraping Sheldon's Quotes (The big bang theory) and integrated the db into a shell script, was fun [7]. I created one shell script to make deploying sugar activities on XO a one command job [6]. I also do some web scraping work as freelancing work on Odesk [5]. I also have some more hacks/projects on my github profile. I was looking through the Fedora's idea list and a couple of ideas interest me. a. Multimonitor wallpaper submission and download for Nuancier b. Cockpit UI for Rolekit I was thinking of doing some qualification tasks for the same projects. Can the mentor assign me a bug fix or a task so that I can start working on my proposal? What in particular are you looking to do on the rolekit project? We didn't *specifically* call out any rolekit tasks on the proposals page; what we have there is actually a Cockpit project task for integrating with some of the work we've done on rolekit.
