Developing Linux distributions with GSOC

I am interesting on developing Linux distributions. I like to do something to world with free Linux distribution. Can I join with GSOC 2016 with developing a solution for Linux distribution?

Hey Dimuthu, thanks for sharing. :) These are all great resources for 
GSoC! In addition, depending on what someone is looking at working on,
