I'm Meet Patel, a 3rd year IT undergraduate from Bhubaneswar, India interested in
contributing to 'CentOS CI user front end' as a part of GSoC, 2019.
I have experience in Angular 6,Node.js, MongoDB and Flask. I am confident that I can
contribute to this project.
If you can guide me solving some beginner issues and get
started, That would be great.
Hi Meet,
Glad to see your interest. CentOS CI Front End is not an on-going
project but a completely new addition to help contributors' signup to
centos CI Infra easier. So the beginner issues would be to have a
mockup ready.
Apart from the things mentioned in the idea page, I have written a
small document[0] which further explains what's needed. I would
recommend going through the links provided on the idea page to
understand how CentOS CI works, and once done with that, looking at
the Duffy code base[1] to understand the models we use would be nice
(since you will be consuming some of it to display things on the
dashboard). Mock-ups and draft proposal can be the next step. Feel
free to ask any questions if you are stuck.
