I just went to start downloading F7 torrent and all I could find was a DVD or a single CD live option. Are there not CDs for the complete install?
I couldn't get the live CD to work on the machines that I use for my mail server and those machines don't have DVD drives.
If you have a spare partition that is not used in the installation you can put the dvd iso-image on it. Then use the rescue cd to start the installation, select hard disk method and point to the partition that contains the iso image. this is also much faster than installing from dvd drive.
Note that the partition also can not be part of a raid array (not even raid 1). I had some issues with that as all of the partitions on one of my machines were in raid arrays. I filed a bugzilla, but the response was that they didn't want to support this due to the bloat of needing extra drivers in stage1.
