But is common practice that exactly because of these problems with
localization and stability then userfriendly names (titles) shouldn't be used
identifiers.
Showing and clicking titles in a GUI and not showing identifiers is a good
idea.
But on the commandline it would be nice if yum grouplist also showed
identifiers, and it should be recommended to always use these.
IMHO ;-)
That makes no sense to me. If there is a localized name it makes sense
that the user can use the localized name. That way they don't have to
search for letters they can't quite understand.
