worked for me on geforce 7300 gt.
however, between plymouth and gdm the video ram is still garbage.

On my geforce 6200fx it doesn't work, on my 8500gt doesn't work
either...only with "vga=0x318" appended at the kernel command line...maybe
it should be enabled by default in F10?
