FOSS Family Dinner - Dec. 2017

Hey all,

We're planning to organize a FOSS Family dinner before the holidays and
everyone goes home; if you want to join the RIT FOSS community for
dinner, please fill out this WhenIsGood survey to find the best time /
date before next Wednesday, Dec. 6th.

Location is not yet decided. From discussions with some of you, we can
give somewhere new a try, since I think some folks are a little tired of
Peppermint's. We figure out location after we find a good date / time.

starting at 6:00pm in Sticky Lips BBQ. If you did NOT get an individual
email from me, **please reply to me off-list and confirm your attendance
so I can make a reservation.**

I chose Sticky Lips since it's close to campus. If you have dietary
restrictions and this will not work for you, please let me know ASAP. A
menu is here, for reference:

I called Sticky Lips today to make the reservation for 14-17 people;
however, there is a party of 30 coming in at the same time (6pm), and
they couldn't guarantee that we could all sit together.

They will make a best-effort to seat us all together, but worst case, we
may be split between a couple of tables.

See you on Wednesday! Once I get final confirmations from a few more
people, I'll send out individual emails to arrange transportation for
anyone that needed a ride.

Hi all,

With regards to the winter storm warning, the Wednesday evening FOSS
dinner plans are still a go, but we will revisit on Wednesday afternoon
if it seems unsafe to drive.

The heaviest conditions are estimated for Wednesday morning, and I think
it will be fine. But we won't make people drive if the roads are unsafe.

Keep an eye out tomorrow for more info. Still hoping to see everyone
tomorrow night to celebrate the end of the semester!
