Announcement: AnacondaNewUI Followup Test Day on May 21st

Good morning everyone, We would like to invite you to another Fedora 19 Test Day. The test day on Tuesday, May 21st [1] will be focused on recent changes in Anaconda (the installer) introduced as a part of follow-up to AnacondaNewUI project [2]. The main item for testing during this event is advanced storage. You are also welcome to participate on usability testing which will focus on advanced storage as well and in addition to it also text mode installation will be covered. Fedora 19 Beta Release Candidate 2 (RC2) Available Now!

NOTE: The 64-bit Live LXDE is over its size target (700 MiB) and will not fit on a standard 700 MiB CD. As per the Fedora 19 schedule [1], Fedora 19 Beta Release Candidate 2 (RC2) is now available for testing. Content information, including changes, can be found at https://fedorahosted.org/rel-eng/ticket/5602#comment:14 . Please see the following pages for download links (including delta ISOs) and testing instructions. Normally dl.fedoraproject.org should provide the fastest download, but download-ib01.fedoraproject.org is available as a mirror (with an approximately 1 hour lag) in case of trouble. Election Season Begins: Fedora Board, FESCo, FAmSCo, and Fedora 20 naming election process

It is time again to begin Fedora's election season. This announcement contains information regarding the Fedora 20 Naming Election, as well as the Fedora Board, Fedora Engineering Steering Committee (FESCo), and Fedora Ambassadors Steering Committee (FAmSCo) elections. ** Fedora 20 Naming Election ** The suggestion period for names for Fedora 20 is now open (May 15, 2013), and will end promptly at the end of the day on May 22, 2013 (23:59:59 UTC). So run - don't "paws" - and get your suggestion in for the next Fedora release name. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Name_suggestions_for_Fedora_20 Fine Print: You *must* follow the instructions and guidelines at the page listed above if you want your name to be considered. For instance, there must be an "is-a" link between the name "Schrödinger's Cat" (from Fedora 19) and the name you suggest. That link must be different than previous links for Fedora release names. Names of living people and well-known trademarks will likely be rejected as well. You can also find full schedule details for the release naming process on the above page.
