I can see it being handy for having a list of maps and restaurants,
but I think just about everybody Yelps and Google Maps and whatnot on
their phones now anyway. We also have a mobile site schedule through
Sched.
For non-US attendees, data roaming may be astronomical (as an example,
US data roaming for me is $1/MB if I buy a "travel pass" before I fly,
or $5/MB otherwise). Thus non-US folks will probably only use their
smartphones in WiFi zones (hotel, campus), and a simple photocopied
map/list/guide for restaurant-finding etc. would very welcome.
