previously installed 3rd party font gets lost after yum update

How reproducible:
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install fonts-chinese-zysong-0.1-5.el5.noarch.rpm on f10 2. system update 3. zysong disappeared.
Actual results:

It needs to be updated to respect the Fedora packaging conventions (for example we've asked for years not to depend explicitly on ttmkfdir)
