I am just thinking if we should have some comparison for various desktop
environments provided in Fedora 19. We have seen new DE are available
since last 2 Fedora releases.
The comparison is simple like for each DE, what fonts it installed
default, what input-methods available (any default), how can one add new
ime, how to change/set fonts, what applications are available for managing
fonts, etc..
Benefit:- we can have this comparison for people who want to explore other
DE and want to know what options are available for their current desktop
to new desktop environment.
Can you people provide your suggestions on this idea?

Hi All,
I was just going through the Oriya hunspell package and observed the
source tarball aspell6-or-0.03-1.tar.bz2 [1] is done in 2005.
No change in wordlist from long time. I am sure presently we can get
much more accurate data/wordlist for Oriya language and can enhance this
word list.
If one reads NOTES file in sources it is written
"This is a very preliminary step at making a usable aspell dictionary for
Oriya. The current version has many shortcomings: (a) the wordlist is
limited,
and far from being a real dictionary. It is based on the Rebati glossary of
computer-related terms, and is largely drawn from the GNOME glossary.
(b) support for advanced aspell features like affixes and soundslike is
lacking.
The complete aspell distribution as well as the source files (in PDf and
UTF-8) for the original Rebati glossary are available from under
http://oriya.sarovar.org/dictionary.html."

I glad to finally be able to announce that as of the newly released Android
4.3, all text shaping on Android happens using harfbuzz-ng. See:

Cheers,

The feature process has been replaced by the planning process. please read
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Policy carefully and follow it if
you are planning to make complex changes in f20.
Prior to do that, we can discuss what we want to do next, what we should
improve since f19 etc in the meeting perhaps.
