I've seen this exact error before, and if I resubmit and get a

inf ticket,perhaps?
from build.log
magic_file(ms, "/builddir/build/BUILDROOT/wesnoth-1.4.5-1.fc10.x86_64/usr/share/wesnoth/ data/core/images/terrain/tent.png") failed: mode 100644 Macintosh HFS Extended version 61389 data (unclean) vasprintf failed (Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character) rpmbuild: rpmfc.c:1400: rpmfcClassify: Assertion `ftype != ((void *)0)' failed.
there is either something wrong with that file. or there is a bug in
rpm
that cant deal with it.
Its not a buildsystem issue. the builds that failed x86_64 and i386
did
not have anything touching a ppc machine the srpm was build on a x86_64 machine.
the ppc builds got cancelled as they were still running.
Ok. I thought as much. But why, then does it sometimes work? I did several builds of the 1.4.4 version, and some worked, with no changes to the source. 1.4.5 builds fine for me locally and in mock, on i386. I took a look at that file, and I nothing that distinguishes it from others.
Building locally in mock on F-9 it builds ok. building in rawhide it does not. it is quite possible that you have hit a bug in the newer RPM
I'll try my own mock build. If it fails the same way, I'll file a bug against rpm.
