If the ACLs for the EOL releases are cleared, the maintainers of the supported packages will not get any bug reports (unless Bugzilla does not support this of course). Also the EOL-team can triage the bugs for the supported release to avoid bugging the maintainers.
I think we're stretching beyond bugzilla's capabilities but I'd be happy to be proved wrong :-)
I don't think bugzilla has separation of Product-versions so there's no way to assign different people to Fedora-10 and Fedora-7.
I always feared this. In case this is true and initialCC cannot be configured differently for different Fedora versions, too, (which I assume is unrealistic if bugzilla cannot distinguish versions for assignees) imho the packageDB UI should reflect this.
