I'm actually trying to run a VB application with Linux and it won't work, even with "Wine".
Do you think it can work with Fedora ? If it can, I'll just have to download it and enjoy running VB with Linux !!

I've never tried it, but you could have a look here maybe: http://gambas.sourceforge.net/
It won't run in wine since you'll need the DLL's that your program needs (be it mfc*.dll, etc..)
I suggest you'll ask this question at wine-devel mailing list (see: http://www.winehq.org/ - there's mailing list option there as well as HOWTO)..

Installing VB runtime does the trick. Most of the apps I tryed (at least two years ago) worked fine.

Just keep in mind you'll need wine which is aware of exec shield. As it was noted before the atrpms's package is.
