i386 popt static library in x86-64

Hi, The popt-static.i386 is missing from the x86-64 repositories and it seems I can't install it from the i386 ones, since it now conflicts with the x86-64 (I could before, but now something has changed). I need both the popt-static.x86_64 and the popt-static.i386 in my system. Any suggestions ? regards -Ioannis

packaging: new spec filed idea

hi, I have simple idea. PackageKit in its search results component shows items with package-x-generic icon: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Interviews/PackageKit?action=AttachFile&do=ge… I think that SPEC should have "Icon: " filed which would tell PK and others to display that icon from current icon theme. anaconda support for encrypted LVs (as opposed to PVs)

A while back I was told that Anaconda supported creating encrypted LVs, but it appears as of today's rawhide it only supports encrypted PVs. Is that true? If not, what is the magic UI sequence that allows LVs to be created and encrypted?

Wild buildsys reports?

Hi, I have been receiving reports of broken for all the packages I maintain and/or indirectly dependent. The report are very suspicious in the sense that they complain about everything. The simples example: python-HTMLgen has broken dependencies in the development tree: On ppc: python-HTMLgen - 2.2.2-10.fc8.noarch requires python(abi) = 0:2.5 On x86_64: python-HTMLgen - 2.2.2-10.fc8.noarch requires python(abi) = 0:2.5 On i386: python-HTMLgen - 2.2.2-10.fc8.noarch requires python(abi) = 0:2.5 On ppc64: python-HTMLgen - 2.2.2-10.fc8.noarch requires python(abi) = 0:2.5 Please resolve this as soon as possible. Unless we have python 2.6 (not yet released) I can not see how this fails, other than some borkage in the buildsys report generation. :-) Regards, -- José Abílio
