Disabled registration from a certain IP due to a limit.
by Lukas Ruzicka
Hello,
I would like to vote in this discussion, because I strongly disagree with
Fedora related stuff moving out from Pagure (that Fedora owns and controls)
to GitHub, which is proprietary (because controlled by Microsoft).
The fact that I cannot log into the discussion nor create a new account
because the limit for my IP address has been reached. I want to say that I
do not have any account there and never created one, so I think this goes
to a Red Hat IP as a whole and not my personal address.
Either way, this limits my right to vote in this matter. Please, could
someone responsible fix this problem?

Why is bugzilla spamming me?
by Leigh Scott
I'm currently getting up to 9 emails per new issue, each attachment generates a separate email!
This needs fixing now/yesterday, if it continues I will pipe all bugzilla mail to spam.

License change: python-inflect-2.1.0 changing to MIT license
by David Shea
As of version 2.1.0, the upstream project for python-inflect is licensed under the MIT license. The license was previously AGPL version 3 or newer. Since the MIT license is the more permissive of the two and is more certainly GPL compatible, this should have no ill effect on dependent packages.

Need help with illegal instruction errors in COPR
by Orion Poplawski
I'm testing out rebuilding packages with openmpi 3.1 in COPR:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/g/scitech/openmpi3.1/builds/
A number of packages are failing running tests only on Fedora Rawhide
x86_64 with processes killed with signal 4 (Illegal instruction). For
example:
+
PYTHONPATH=/builddir/build/BUILDROOT/mpi4py-3.0.0-6.git39ca78422646.fc30.x86_64/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/openmpi
+ mpiexec -n 1 python2 test/runtests.py -v --no-builddir
--thread-level=serialized -e spawn
BUILDSTDERR:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
BUILDSTDERR: Primary job terminated normally, but 1 process returned
BUILDSTDERR: a non-zero exit code. Per user-direction, the job has been
aborted.
BUILDSTDERR:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
BUILDSTDERR:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
BUILDSTDERR: mpiexec noticed that process rank 0 with PID 0 on node
656ae442c6bf45fe9b45c5481f41bc45 exited on signal 4 (Illegal instruction).
BUILDSTDERR:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately I have been unable to reproduce this in any local mock
builds. So I'm left wondering if this is some kind of peculiarity with
the COPR builders or if there is a real problem with openmpi. Any
suggestions for how to further debug this would be greatly appreciated.
(PID 0 seems very odd)

fedpkg build disconnects?
by Richard Shaw
I've never had this problem before but for the last week or so I frequently
get the following at some point before the build completes:
Could not execute build: ('Connection aborted.', RemoteDisconnected('Remote
end closed connection without response'))
I know it doesn't affect the build but sometimes I do like to wait and make
sure all arches complete before working on other dependencies.
Thanks,
Richard

Orphaned bouml and bouml-doc, again.
by Raphael Groner
Hi,
as discussed in another thread, bouml has actually license issues to comply with Fedora guidelines, especially bouml-doc in its recent version. There was a modification at upstream to the license model, they closed some parts and we fail to distribute it properly with Fedora. Sorry if you expect some references to prove the mentioned reason but I'm too lazy.
Maybe someone can look into DoUML (a fork of BoUML) and file another new review request for a proper package.
