Heads up: openjpeg2-2.5.0 and gdal-3.5.0 coming to rawhide
by Sandro Mani
Hi
I'll build openjpeg2-2.5.0 and gdal-3.5.0 for rawhide in the side tag
f37-build-side-53899. I've switched gdal to the new cmake based build,
and at the same time merged the mingw package with the native one. I'll
rebuild affected packages as listed below.
Thanks
Sandro

mupdf 1.20.0 coming to rawhide
by Michael J Gruber
mupdf 1.20.0 is coming to rawhide in side-tag f37-build-side-54574.
As always, I coordinate this with the maintainers of zathura-pdf-mupdf and python-PyMuPDF directly via PRs (but I may have missed some indirect dependency).

fedpkg request-side-tag: I don't understand "allowed_suffixes"
by Richard W.M. Jones
I thought I'd be nice and use a suffix for my side tag so it would be
clear (not least to me!) which side tag was being used for the OCaml
rebuild in Rawhide, but ...
$ fedpkg request-side-tag --help
usage: fedpkg request-side-tag [-h] [--base-tag BASE_TAG] [--suffix SUFFIX]
options:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
--base-tag BASE_TAG name of base tag
--suffix SUFFIX A suffix to be appended to the side tag name. The
suffix must be allowed in Koji configuration.
$ fedpkg request-side-tag --suffix ocaml
Could not execute request_side_tag: ocaml suffix is not allowed for sidetag
Looking at this it seems there's a hard-coded list of allowed
suffixes. I couldn't find where this is defined, but obviously
"ocaml" ain't on the list so it's not getting in.
I don't understand this - what's it for? Or do I have to request the
ocaml is added to the list?
Rich.

hp printer installation
by Roger Wells
Any attempt to install my hp4630 all-in one printer on a clean install
F36 produces dialog saying "python3 not responding" and ultimately fails.
Same printer has installed and worked as expected on F35 and many
previous fedora installations.
Installation attempt is for wireless connection.
