I get this all the time. It would be nice to be able to have a "discount this karma" button for maintainers, rather than having to add an additional +1 just to cancel the misguided -1.
Would you really want to spend time on "moderating" karma/comments in bodhi? Sounds like a waste of time to me.
Just choose to disable karma automatism when you create the ticket in bodhi, and be done with it.
In the Glorious Future, when Bodhi has different feedback types rather than a simple 'positive/negative' sum, this problem should more or less go away. We can create a special category for 'this update doesn't fix my already-existing bug, wah wah!' so people can file such feedback, and everyone else can cheerfully ignore it. :)
