Sorry guys, this feature sucks. The rationale was and is handwavy at
best and none of the legitimate concerns which have been raised have
been answered in any meaningful fashion. There have never been any
numbers showing the IO/power benefit claims are true.
+1, /tmp on tmpfs is NOT helpful.
(That said, we have even bigger problems coming up with Restricted
("Secure") Boot!)
