FWIW, everyone seems to hate gpk-application, so I doubt anyone would
shed any tears over its loss. =) And if gpk-update-viewer has any
committed fans, I ain't met 'em.
And AFAIK Yumex is still maintained and in Fedora repositories and IMHO
does the job better than gnome-packagekit. So I wouldn't worry about
getting rid of it completely either.
