Greetings.
In the past the scm-commits list:
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/scm-commits@lists.fedorapro...
Contained not only git commit messages for packages and notification of
uploads to lookaside cache, but also all changes in pkgdb acls.
The volume of emails from pkgdb acl changes can be very high, and this
prevented people from being able to use the scm-commits list as a way
to review commits.
In order to mitigate this problem, we have now created a new list:
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/scm-notifications@lists.fed...
that will now get all pkgdb acl changes. The scm-commits list will
continue to get commit messages and notification of source uploads
only.
We hope this change will help everyone more easily get the information
they wish.
Thank you very much. I have been waiting for this change to happen for
scm-commits list since long time.
There are also some other kind of messages which generates lots of
notification emails like Koschei flag, pkgdb_updater script,
monitoring a package. Can some of them be moved to scm-notifications
list?

Parag.
