Anyone else seeing gdb segfault in F12? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=538626

Problems updating from F11 -> F12
1st: graphics interface (X) didn't work. Hardware NVIDIA 5500 + LG 710E CRT. After update: /etc/X11/xorg.conf was altered:
Section "Device" Driver "sis" # Driver "nv" ...
I guess that install is detecting motherboard's Sis chip (but it is disabled)... LG 710E is also source of problems since correct definition is:
Section "Monitor" Identifier "Monitor0" VendorName "LG" ModelName "710E" HorizSync 30.0 - 71.0 VertRefresh 50.0 - 160.0 Option "DPMS" EndSection

2nd: after using textual update (that went without problems) and fixing /etc/X11/xorg.conf kdm failed to start

3rd: trying the rescue facility of install CD
It enters a menu that asks for shell/check/something else. I choose shell, then OK and have nothing. Despite right selection for keyboard and language, <tab> & arrows are "borked" (escape sequences).

Current auto-detection methods don't rely on doing _anything_ to xorg.conf. The only thing I can think of that would poke it is livna-config-display , which comes from RPM Fusion. Do you have that installed?
LG 710E is also source of problems since correct definition is:
Section "Monitor" Identifier "Monitor0" VendorName "LG" ModelName "710E" HorizSync 30.0 - 71.0 VertRefresh 50.0 - 160.0 Option "DPMS" EndSection
There's not enough detail here. Did something create an incorrect monitor section? Was there no monitor section and that didn't work? What goes wrong exactly?
Basically, it'd be interesting if you completely remove (rename) xorg.conf and try starting X.
