Downloaded both x86_64 images and tested netinstall on VBox (discovered it was looking for a missing .treeinfo in the repository). went fine. more testing later.
I tested the live image and reproduced a problem seen with the nouveau test day image (and added more detail here)

I hope something can be done for this or F15 will be off limits for machines like mine (Nvidia Ion netbook)
