Debuginfo problem with fpc

I have a package, cqrlog, which is pascal based and the latest version
doesn't appear to do a debug build.

error: Empty %files file
/home/build/rpmbuild/cqrlog/BUILD/cqrlog-2.1.0/debugfiles.list

There is a debug target but it doesn't seem to work properly...

 make -j4 debug

I'm not very familiar with fpc or lazarus.

Any ideas short of disabling debuginfo?

I've had a similar problem before - the issue is that on 32-bit targets, fpc defaults
to generating debuginfo in stabs format (instead of DWARF) and that is no longer supported
by find-debuginfo.

As for your problem - you can try patching the Lazarus project file, so the compiler gets
passed the "-gw" switch. At this moment I'm a tad busy, but if you have
problems, I should be able to take a look at the package and send you a patch file later
in the evening.

Hello, Richard, and sorry for the late reply.

I've patched the Lazarus project file and got the package to compile successfully
(koji scratch build) on i686. I attach the patch below. Hope you'll find it useful.
