Hello,
Some packages use internal versions of libmspack, according to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=427638 samba, clamav. And cabextract.
I don't want to maintain one more package but would review it.

What version did you want packaged the cvs version of the pack that they list the 2006-09-20?
Cheers,
Marc

The package they list the 2006-09-20. Unless there is a good reason cvs snapshots shouldn't be packaged. The 2006-09-20 version is the same than what appears in cabextract-1.2 so it looks right to me.

I'll start work on it if nobody else really wants it.
Cheers,
Marc

Never seen that code in samba, and I honestly do not know why we would need it.
I know we have something to handle compression on some RPC pipe in samba4, but again I don't think it is libmspack ...
Simo.

Did anyone else think this was a request to package Max Spevack's libraries?
(sorry Patrice, couldn't resist)

Thanks a lot. I have send a patch to cabextract upstream to use external libmspack.
