Hi,
I asked about PGSQL 9 for F14 but it was too late. So how is it now? Any plans for PGSQL 9 and MySQL 5.5 in F15?
2010/12/19 Tom Lane tgl@redhat.com:
Yes.
Great :)
Will it be possible to easily rebuild PGSQL 9 packages for RHEL 6?
regards, tom lane

Upstream's semi-official (which will be official soon) RPM repo has 9.0 for RHEL 6:

Thank you very much :) now I can do some PGSQL 8.4 vs. PGSQL 9.0 performance comparison for a project that I'm working on :)

There is a PostgreSQL 9.1alpha3 for i686, but I can't find one for x86_64. Can I get SRPM for 9.1?

Uh. Seems like I forgot to upload them.
I don't have access to master RPM buildfarm ATM. May I ask you to build you own package using SVN repositorY?

has a quick guide about how to do it. It should take a few minutes on a new machine.

I'm hoping to support in-place upgrade from 8.4. I'm not planning to open the concurrently-installed-versions can of worms, except to the very small extent needed for an upgrade RPM.
