And I see that some packages not run validation like
plasma-systemsettings bit still contain metainfo .xml with <icon
type="stock">systemsettings</icon>

I opened an issue with appstream-glib upstream project about this.
Turns out, it's not that icons of type "stock" are considered invalid,
but there's only a short whitelist of *stock icon names* that's
considered valid:
