Dear Jones,
After a few months of struggle, I could able to build RISC-V Linux distribution
for RV64IMAFD. Now I am trying to install Fedora packages with the help of
rpmbuild.
Here as a first trail, I have downloaded banner-1.3.5-5.fc36.src.rpm SRPM and
followed steps mentioned below.
Steps:
1. rpmbuild -ba banner.spec (SUCCESS)
step-1 was successful and it has generated banner-1.3.5-5.fc36.riscv64.rpm
binary file.
2.rpm -i banner-1.3.5-5.fc36.riscv64.rpm
Error:
error: Failed dependencies:
libc.so.6()(64bit) is needed by banner-1.3.5-5.fc36.riscv64
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.27)(64bit) is needed by banner-1.3.5-5.fc36.riscv64
Not only banner pckage, many other pckages I could rebuild it in my Linux
distro but I can not install it. I did checked in my Linux, glibc-2.27 package
installed already still it is prompting libc.so.6 needed error.
I am eagerly expecting help form you. Can you please help me to solve the above
error.
Thanks
Billa
