Actually I had requested a freeze override for Anjuta and libgdl [1] causing the mess. Actually the changes between 2.27.92 to 2.28.0 included the addition of an extra enum value to GdlSwitcherStyle and I did not expect this to cause a bump in the soname. But it was bumped and I failed to notice it. My mistake.
This new enum value is not being used as far as I know, so how do you propose we clean this? Untag the new libgdl or rebuild the other packages?
Sorry, Debarshi

How many 'other packages' are we referring to here?

Never mind, I see 4 packages.
So: - I'd rather ship a released version of libgdl - None of these are critical path
How quickly can you build?

I can build Anjuta right now. Rest I do not have commit access to.
gtranslator & solang building. gnome-python2-extras will likely get rebuilt anyway for an upcoming xulrunner upgrade.
Bill
Finished building anjuta-2.28.1.0-2.fc12

In case you were unaware libgdl is broken with the client-side windows in GTK 2.18. I filed an upstream bug report about the issue. I assume the libgdl developers released 2.28 to go along with the release of Gnome 2.28. However they apparently didn't test their code with GTK 2.18. You can reproduce the problem by rearranging/closing/opening the apps docked windows.
