I noticed now that I'm starting to actually install systems with f8 that the time used/remaining indication has been removed from the text installation screen. I'm curious, why is that?

It's non-trivial to render accurately (it wasn't particularly accurate before...)

T'was better than nothing though. The time at the end at least was accurate and gave you an idea on how long the next installation would take. I didn't realize I'd have to time it by hand.
