Anyone interested in abi-compatibility-checker?

I was looking for a way to check abi compatibility for a package I
maintain that does not control API/ABI compatibility and found this:

http://forge.ispras.ru/projects/abi-compliance-checker

I already have it packaged for my own use so I thought I'd check to
see if anyone else is interested in it, and if so, if someone will
want to review it.

It's perl based so if you're not familiar with perl packaging (this is
my first perl package) it might help to get someone from the perl-sig
to review it as well.

Thanks, I'll find it useful. I maintain a c lib and was meaning to
add something like this to my release cycle.

How do you generally make use of it?  In the course of my build process I 
don't normally have two versions of the same library installed on one machine 
which seems to be what is needed to use it.

There also exists the --stdout option in the 1.96.1 version of 
abi-compliance-checker tool to print ABI dumps to stdout. So, this 
allows to avoid creating archives and speed up the analysis:

1. abi-compliance-checker -l libmemcached -dump libmemcached042.xml 
-stdout > libmemcached_0.42.abi
2. abi-compliance-checker -l libmemcached -dump libmemcached043.xml 
-stdout > libmemcached_0.43.abi
3. abi-compliance-checker -l libmemcached -d1 libmemcached_0.42.abi -d2 
libmemcached_0.43.abi

Also, we have moved upstream-tracker service from
