Any suggestions for how to fix this?
I verified that I am in the mock group
Try scrubbing your chroot, something like this:
mock -r fedora-rawhide-x86_64 --scrub=chroot
for the appropriate chroot if it isn't Rawhide, of course. Then try
building something in mock again.
