I think it's nice to close the last day with an everyone-there

This could be the Council panel, but I'm not sure that would be the
best as the last. How about we do lightning talks then? These could be
mostly pre-planned submitted short talks, with a few slots left open
for on-the-fly inspiration.
We did this in FUDCon Pune this year. We had a few dedicated tracks
for various technologies running in parallel and on the last day we
had a "learnings" slot where a participant from each of those tracks
came up and talked for 10-15 minutes giving a summary of their track
and future action plan, if any. We followed it up with a closing
thank you note where we recognized all of the volunteers who helped
make the FUDCon possible.
The closing thank you note is something that I haven't seen in a lot
of conferences outside India, although admittedly I haven't been to
many. They set a very personal note to the conference, which IMO is
especially apt for community driven conferences like Flock and FUDCon.
