Another thing I'd like to discuss: it is possible to arrange
a boat party, similar to the one we had in Prague 2014, instead of
Browar Lubicz. There are many pubs around the world, I think that
a boat party is more exceptional. If we can't make a cooler party
than in Prague then let's make it at least equally cool. :-)
There are several floating ships and several permanently moored ones
serving as the restaurants along the Vistula river bank between the
Wawel Castle and Kazimierz quarter. I've contacted some of them.
The problem with the boats is that there is no floating (cruising) ship
large enough to host 250 passengers, the largest one would take only
200. This is not a problem for permanently moored boats, though. Can we
assume there will be no more than 200 people at the party? Can we
arrange two short cruises and spend most of the time at a moored boat?
Can we just spend all the time at a moored boat?
If you think the idea is not good and want to stay with the Browar
Lubicz party idea then a question: what are we going to do after the walking
tour on Aug 2? The walking tour is going to end about 9pm in Kazimierz.
One of the boats is moored near there, why not to drop in and have
some food/drinks? Are we going to any pub/restaurant after the tour?
Are we all going to one pub/restaurant? Have you already got one chosen?
The prices are:
* a ship cruise: 1200-2500 PLN per hour, 5000 per evening;
* food: 30-80 PLN per person;
* beer/alcoholic drinks: 13-120 PLN per person.
The detailed price depends on the foods/drinks chosen and the time of
cruising (if any), the price for 250 people would be from 10,000 to
50,000 PLN ($2,600-$13,000).
