I like this idea, but it would definitely need to be in a
dedicated/separate room.
I think the projector will not be an issue, but the sound system
will
probably not be something that we have available. What exactly do you
need? Perhaps you could identify something that would work well (and not
cost too much) that Fedora could purchase for this (I can see it being
useful for future Flocks too)?
And other events probably. There are some small units, suitable only for
karaoke and speeches for small rooms/audiences (30-60) for around USD 200.
Mid-sized units more suitable for an open or larger space, or outside, are
available in the USD 500-800 range. Stands, mics, and cables would add a
bit more.
