Hi, since couple of days I'm experiencing some bugs:
1. (250009) kmail indicates old mail as unread [1] 2. (215091) kmail occasionally stops receiving mail [2] 3. (similar to 218001) http_cache_cleaner appears in task bar [3]
AD1 is reported by me
AD3 this is not exactly this issue, because: a) I'm running KDE, not Gnome, b) http_cache_cleaner.desktop has "X-KDE-StartupNotify=false" Anyway, result is similar - http_cache_cleaner processes are visible in task bar (1 - 4 processes), cursor changes to 'busy'
Is anybody else experiencing some/all of this??? This box runs Fedora since April '06 (upgrades: FC5 -> FC6 -> F7). I had no issues with KDE until now ;)
Any help appreciated,
thanks,

i'm running Fedora 7 with KDE since it's released and i didn't experience any of those bugs. though only the third one could be relevant for me because i'm not using kmail.

After one of the updates - my kmail no longer updates from exchange via imap - and also does not apply filters - lack of update may be dominating. This is not oaccasional it no now longer works at all. Thunderbird works fine.
Non-exchange Imap seems to be ok however.
may or may not be related.
pop - i have an account set to not update. Clicking on the inbox does not update the mail either - i have to press File->check mail in->xxx. Not sure when this happened but somewhat recently.
Is this same for you?

I don't use imap nor exchange, so can't help here.

Some sort of. I've got a problem with fetching mail from all servers. No matter if I use "[ctrl]+[L]" shortcut, or a button in kmail's toolbar, or "File -> Check Mail" - this action fails in random cases. I have to manually choose servers, one by one... just like You said.
But bug number 1 (250009) is independent from this.

Hi,
Since we're talking about KMail, I'd like to mention the "imap copy moves files instead of copying" bug, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=144960
I commented on that when I still had FC6 with kde-redhat, now I'm on F7 with the standard Fedora packages and the bug still exists. Of course these are upstream bugs and should be handled there...
